100 million may be Jewish
Studies indicate that an estimated 100 million people worldwide are Bnei Anusim – descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jewry stripped of their Jewish identity during the Spanish Inquisition. Today 10 million Bnei Anusim identify as Jewish, and an estimated 1.5 million could consider moving to Israel one day.
