YOUR BATTLE PLAN FOR VICTORY

We serve a God of integrity and truth.  His Word is His bond.  It’s a binding agreement.  It’s a firm assurance, a written obligation.  God’s Word is a contract that cannot be broken or dismantled or nullified.  It is a Word of surety, for God will never say one thing and then do another.  He cannot contradict His own nature, for His Word is consistent with His being.  He is Truth.  His Word is Truth.

The Word of God says, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).  When God says it, God does it.  If He says He’s going to help you, then you can count on Him to follow through with His promise.  He is a God of integrity.  He will backup His promise with performance.

You are different from the average person.  People read books for many reasons, but you have picked up this book because you have a desire to serve God outside of the parameters of human limitation.  Not everyone can claim this desire, but within you, there is a spiritual tenacity and a willingness to go the extra mile.  It’s a stirring.  It’s a hunger.  It’s a fervency.  There is something in you that wants to go all the way with God. 

If this is your desire, as I know it is, then you must build your life upon the revelation of God’s integrity.  This revelation is your key to consistent victory and continual success.  As a child of God, you have to know who God is and what He has called you to do.  You have to know what He has promised to perform in your life.  Remember, His Word is His contractual agreement with you.  If you don’t know what God has promised you, then you can’t fight for it and you cannot contend for it.  Therefore, you must take up His Word and fight the good fight of faith.  This is your battle plan for victory.  Take up the Word and fight. 

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

His Word must be so real to you that you can immediately detect and reject a word that does not come from God.  The Bible calls this the good fight of faith and we are commanded to fight it.  If you know the Word of God, then you must fight the good fight to see the Word of God manifested in your life. 

God deals with truth and His Word is the TRUTH. The devil deals with lies, and his word is LIES. Fight the GOOD FIGHT.

If the devil cannot talk you out of desiring Jesus, then he will attempt to dilute the power of God in your life.  He will do everything he can to present Jesus in a religious light, to reduce His presence to a man-made concept or ideology.  The devil would like to neutralize the power of God in your life.  He would like to rob you of the benefits that Jesus came to give you. 

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  John 10:10

The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.  This is his very nature.  Therefore, it is imperative that you have a working knowledge on how to prevent the thief from stealing, the destroyer from destroying, and the murderer from murdering.  Your working knowledge is the good fight of faith in your life.

How do you fight the good fight of faith?

You must know that God is a God of integrity.  You must know that His Word is His bond.  Through the Scriptures, allow the Holy Ghost to give you a biblical revelation of the mindset and heartbeat of God.  Once you know the will of God, no one will be able talk you out of it.  Your confidence will be firmly established in the security of His integrity. 

When this becomes your confidence, then there is nothing the devil can do to rob you.  Your position is secured and you become a force to contend with in God.  No longer are you tossed here and there by an opinion or what you read in the headlines.  You know God and you know His Word.  This unshakeable knowledge is your platform for victory.

He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

He sent His Word and that Word both healed them and delivered them.  When God wants to get a job done, He sends His Word.  The integrity of God is the integrity of the Word.  Jesus said, “Heaven and Earth will pass away but My Word will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).  The Word of God will outlast the test of time.  The Word of God is God and He will never become irrelevant or obsolete.  He will see you through to victory!
