It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. ~ John 6:63
If you practice keeping your mind on spiritual things, then your spirit will be filled with spiritual truth. If your spirit is brimming with spiritual truth, then your mouth will flow with divine utterance. Divine utterance is anointed, prophetic speech. Jesus said that His words are Spirit and life. Do you believe that it’s possible to talk out of the Spirit of God all of the time? Jesus did it. If Jesus did it, you can too. The Bible records only a miniscule amount of all that Jesus said. The Holy Ghost just brought out the highlights of His ministry on Earth! There are so many things that He said during His earthly ministry—that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written of Him!
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak,
they will give account of it in the Day of Judgment. ~ Matthew 12:36
The words of Christ were far from idle. If Jesus had spoken idle words, then He would have been guilty of sin. We know from the Word of God that Jesus was without sin and perfect in all His way. So then, if Jesus wasn’t guilty of idle talk, then how did He talk? For thirty-three and a half years, Jesus spoke out of the Spirit of God—which was in His Spirit! Jesus was a man anointed by the Holy Ghost. He spoke out of His human spirit, which was operating under the influence of the Holy Spirit. When your spirit is hooked into the Holy Spirit, it is easy to move from biblical truth flowing through you into a place where specific Spirit revelation can come to you. It’s hard to move into that place if you’ve been talking out of your mind and out of your flesh.
Get your spirit hooked into the Spirit of God. Wire your mouth into the Spirit of God. Tap into His divine frequency. If both your spirit and your mouth are wired to the Holy Spirit, then you will speak as the oracle of God. It’s the natural outcome to a supernatural connection. You will see and then you will speakTruth. As you make the thoughts of God and the Word of God your priority, the Holy Ghost will give you the accuracy and the ability to minister with His power. First you see, then you say, then you will do.
