THE NEW MOVE OF GOD
By Randy DeMain
The Lord has been speaking to me for sometime now regarding an emerging move of the Body of Christ. A movement that will rise out of the midst of the church as we know it.
It will be like the rising of the Vineyard movement that gave place for expression of newly found gifts and graces. This time, it will be a fulfillment of a line from a familiar song of that era, "more love, more power".
This move will captivate and call together those who have separated themselves from traditional churches in search of something more; it will draw forth those laboring under old wineskin ministries to the greatness of God’s presence and power.
The coming move will be a forerunner movement in the spirit and power of Elijah that will bring forth the Bride of Christ into her glorious state.
Past revivals, renewals, and various moves of God have been centered around individual people or personalities, if the personality died, failed or went into some type of extremism, the movement stopped with them.
This coming move will not be about a minister, ministry or personality. This will be a movement of the people following after their God.
This truth was recently deeply imprinted upon me while in South Africa. While in Durban, an angel of the Lord came into my room with a sash upon him that said, "Holiness unto the Lord”. He released an unfolding revelation over my spirit of the days to come.
I was reminded of a meeting last year in Santa Maria, California. Paul Keith Davis and myself were ministering at The Gate Vineyard Church. That night the Spirit of the Lord had me call forth the sounding of the trumpets from Numbers chapter 10, declaring God's glory is moving.
This angel imprinted upon me, "the time of fashioning the trumpets; the preparation of the priests to blow them is nearing completion”. (Number 10:1-8; Malachi 3:1-5)
God has been preparing the priests and leaders to sound the advance and respond according to the sound. There is a sound in the spirit multitudes are yearning to hear. We were made to hear this sound, to respond to the sound, the sound of the trumpets, the sound to assemble, to advance to war.
This sound is beginning to be heard among the forerunners. This is right and in accordance with the way of the Lord...For, according to Numbers 10:11-17, once the cloud begins to move, the first tribe to respond is Judah (v14) then Issachar (v15) then Zebulun (v16). These forerunner tribes represent the virtues of the minister and ministry types who will first move out so the existing tabernacle can be taken down to move forward to the next place of God.
Each tribe has significance:
Judah: Powerful praise, dominion surges, alliances for conquest until Shiloh comes. (Gen. 49
Judges 1:1-3)
Issachar: Revealing and responding to the understanding of times and seasons.
Zebulun: Carriers of the "recruiter's staff". A people who jeopardized their lives to the point of death (Judges 5:14-18). A people who will sign up the volunteers in the day of power (Ps. 110:1-3).
The ministry of these tribes will begin to mature in the coming years:
Judah: 2010, praise, dominion surges, alliances for conquest (Judges 1:1-3)
Issachar: 2011, clarity and distinction will come forth regarding times and seasons of the Lord.
Zebulun: 2013, Zebulun will begin to release the blessings of the Lord from the coastlands. They will release courage and strength to the Body of Christ; many will rise up and join them to overcome the enemies of the Lord.
By 2012, this new move of God will come forth. It will be just in time to deliver many from the counterfeit move of deception coming forth in 2012 by the father of lies. The Bride of Christ knows the Lord, knows the voice of the Lord, she will lead the way to truth. May our discernment, wisdom, and zeal for the Lord triumph!
This next move isn't about a ministry or personality, it's about the Lord, about being the people of the Lord. Moving when He moves, where He moves according to His plan and desire until we arrive in the promise land to tabernacle with Him!
Perhaps A.W. Tozer has well captured the reality of this emerging generation:
If song could be worn out, we have worn out the same old song, "Revive us again, fill each heart with Thy love.” We have sung that one and nobody means it-nobody will pay the price. Our mistake is that we want God to send revival on our terms. We want to get the power of God into our hands, to call it to us that it may work for us in promoting and furthering our kind of Christianity. We want to still be in charge, guiding the chariot through the religious sky in the direction we want it to go, shouting, "Glory to God”. It is true, but modestly accepting a share of the glory for ourselves in a nice inoffensive sort of way. We are calling on God to send fire on our altars, completely ignoring the fact that they are our altars and not God's.
If enough influential Christians will rethink this whole thing and turn to the New Testament for guidance, there may yet come a new birth of revival among us. These leaders must see that the believer's true ambition should not be success but saintliness. They must see they are not called to imitate the world, but renounce it, and that publicity is no substitute for the power of the Holy Ghost.
