This verse came alive for me one morning as I was having my quiet time with the Lord. It was a part of a devotional that I was reading and when I read those words, I was immediately transported to the day I tried to commit suicide so many years ago. In this vision, I was standing on the edge of a cliff and then I jumped. The next thing that I knew the hand of Jesus reached down and grabbed me by the collar and pulled me back to safety. The words of Jesus to me then were: “I will never leave you, LaWanda, NEVER! And I will not loosen My grip on your life.” I believe Him and know without doubt that this is true. This is TRUTH. He will not allow His faithfulness to fail. He cannot.
