LaWanda - Oh, Jesus, the gloriousness of your love overwhelms me. It covers me and fills me. I praise you. ♪♪ “Who is like you, Lord in all the earth? Matchless love and beauty, endless worth. Nothing in this world will satisfy. Jesus, you’re the cup that won’t run dry. Jesus, you’re the cup that won’t run dry.”♪♪ Thank you, Lord, that the water you give us is living water, that it is eternal. And that there is an endless supply.
I see us today, Lord, beside a small river. We are standing on the bank just watching the water flow by. It is not a stagnant place like a pond where the water does not flow. The water is peacefully and beautifully flowing. It definitely knows where it is going, Lord. You invite me to step into the water, but I am afraid that it will carry me away. But You just smile for that is exactly the plan. Step into the living water that You are and let it carry me away.
I am afraid but because you are going with me, I am willing to go. As we get deeper into the water, you gently pick me up and lay me on my back. By this time, I am not afraid because of your words and your presence. And before I know it, you have released me to Holy Spirit’s care, and we are floating down the river together. The thing about floating is that it takes no effort on my part. I simply let my mind and my body do the “work” and I just rest as I go. If some water splashes on my face and gets into my nose or mouth or I feel like I’m starting to sink, Holy Spirit gently makes His presence known and I just continue floating. Thank you, Jesus. I don’t know what it is about floating that is so peaceful, Lord, but it is.
Jesus - Oh, LaWanda, my dear one, this is a beautiful picture of how your walk with me should be. You step out with Me into the water. I am with you, filling you with My word. My presence comforts you so there is no fear. We walk together until you know My voice and My presence without even thinking about it. And at the perfect time, I release you, but you are not alone. Holy Spirit, who has been with us all along, is with you. He continues to speak My word over you. You think it is the air in your body that is keeping you afloat but that is not true. What is keeping you afloat is every word of Mine that you have taken into you and every experience of My presence. As Holy Spirit continues to speak, you remain at peace. You can see boulders in the river as you float by, but you are not afraid for He is with you. You can hear the water increasing as it begins to flow faster bringing you to the rapids, but you are not afraid for Holy Spirit is there with you. And above the sound of the raging waters ahead, His voice is clear in your ear, guiding you, comforting you, assuring you of your safety in his presence.
This is the value of the secret place. You have heard My voice over and over and over again and you know it. You KNOW that what I say is true and so you trust Me. In that respect, it matters not what comes because your faith in Me is unshakeable. It is unshakeable because you have lived it. And the experience of my love and my presence trumps EVERYTHING else.
So, even as you approach the rapids ahead, you are at peace knowing that I am with you and even though it may be an eventful ride down the river, you will emerge unscathed. Your faith in me will have grown, your love for Me increased and your experience of my presence will continue to overwhelm you as the journey continues. Again, and again and again. And remember, LaWanda, with Me, every “again” is…A GAIN! Whether it is you coming to Me again or Me pouring myself into you again, with ME…EVERY “again” is…A GAIN!
“There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God where they sit near Him and receive the revelation-secrets of His promises. Psalm 25:14 TPT
