God's six foundational experiences equip us to walk and live by the Spirit
Anointed living is about releasing the Holy Spirit. These six foundational experiences (Heb. 6:1,2) describe the steps to restoring spiritual intimacy and power so we can live as Jesus lived (Jn. 5:19,20,30) and fulfill the destinies God has ordained for us.
- Repentance from dead works – A dead work is an Ishmael I create outside of God’s leading, and will be rejected by God. Therefore, there is no point in me creating it in the first place (Jn. 6:63).
- Faith toward God – I believe the flow within me is the River of the Spirit, and I intentionally tune to this flow at all times (Jn. 7:37-39).
- Instruction about baptisms – I get baptized in water, in the body of Christ, in the Holy Spirit, in the fire, and in the cloud (O.T. Israelites in the wilderness).
- Laying on of hands – God's flow of divine power and energy is transmitted through my hands (Mk. 16:18). I expect this and I can often feel the warmth and tingling as it flows.
- The resurrection of the dead – I am dead to self (ego, self-effort, and the works of the flesh) and am alive in Christ, releasing the fruit and gifts of the Spirit (Gal. 2:20).
- Eternal (literally: “age-during”) judgment – "Judge not, and ye may not be judged; condemn not, and ye may not be condemned; release and ye shall be released" (Lk. 6:37 YLT). Judging brings condemnation and imprisonment to me. God’s power is released to flow within me when I stop judging myself and others and express mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. God has told me to cool my judgment as I don’t need to judge most things, nor do I have the capacity to do it properly.
My new lifestyle consists of Jesus, living His life out through me, through His in-dwelling Spirit
- I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God (Gal. 2:20)
- Jesus declares: "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing" (Jn. 6:63)
- Obedience is required: "And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him." (Jn. 8:29)
- Make sure you are holding a picture of Jesus at your right hand (Acts 2:25) and His Spirit joined to your spirit (1 Cor. 6:17) and His River flowing out from your innermost being (Jn. 7:37-39) so that you feel and experience the power of God, your life (Gal. 2:20).
How we live and walk by the Spirit
We are living by the Holy Spirit when we have quieted our own thoughts, pictures and emotions, and are picturing Jesus present with us, asking for His input, and tuned to His flowing pictures, flowing thoughts, flowing emotions, flowing physical sensations, and flowing power. We believe God is alive flowing within us through His River which flows from His throne (Rev. 21:1,2).
