LaWanda – ♪♪ O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.  I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder and there proclaim, my God how great Thou art.” ♪♪  O Jesus, “awesome wonder” is a great way to describe my state of mind when I think about you, Lord.  As I hear your words spoken over me in love, Lord, I am UNDONE.  As I see me - as You see me, Lord - I am UNDONE.  O Lord, Jesus, come and walk with me as you walked with Adam in the garden.  Spare nothing, Lord, as you make me wholly yours.

O Lord, I see you today teaching a small group.  I am at your feet, Lord, for I do not want to miss a thing.  I am determined to hear every word but as I lay my head on your thigh, all of that goes out the window and the joy of touching my Savior fills me up.  In that moment, nothing else matters, Lord.  In that moment, I need nothing else, save to be by my Lord.  O Jesus, thank you, Lord that you allow me to be here and even more that you want me here.  Thank you, Lord, that it was your desire in the beginning to share this intimacy with us.  O Jesus,  ♪♪ I love you Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you, O my soul rejoice.  Take joy my King, in what you hear.  May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. ♪♪  This is my prayer today as my heart overflows with your love for me.

Jesus –  LaWanda, dear one, my precious, beloved one.  You are always welcome at my feet.  For I know that you have come, laying your heart down before me.  You are giving Me the exact offering that I desire – your heart.  For your heart is your most treasured possession.  It contains all the things you want to give me, as well as all the things you want to hide from me.  And when you offer it to me, you are giving me permission to work on those hidden things.  We already know it all, but you still try to hide them. We will bring them forth for healing in our own time, until the day that there is nothing hidden.

O precious one, what is hidden cannot be healed.  It must come to My Light to be transformed.  Until you bring it to me, it is yours and yours alone, along with the burden and weariness that comes from carrying it.  But you have given it to Me now.  Watch what I will do with this treasure so gingerly offered to Me.  My love surrounds it now and the fire of refining begins to burn the dross away until all that is left is the love that you are.  This is the love that I have poured into you since before you were you.  O my dear one, I saw you then in eternity past and have loved you continually and constantly until now.  There has never been one moment in time when I did not love you, dear one.  And what I have begun in you, LaWanda, I surely will finish.  I am not done with you yet.  The best, My best for you, is truly yet to come.

I recently found a verse of Scripture that perfectly describes this two-way conversation with God.  Like happens so often, it is a verse that I had read many times but…this time…it was different.  I felt like Jesus was saying to me, “This verse describes what happens in Journaling Prayer.  Share it.”  The verse was Ephesians 3:18-19 in the Passion Translation.  If you already do two-way journaling, you will immediately see the truth of what He said.  It truly is the essence of hearing the voice of God in this way.  If you do not yet do two-way journaling, I hope that it will inspire you to try it and experience for yourself...”The great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions,” and an intimacy with Jesus greater than anything you can imagine.

Ephesians 3:18-19, TPT

Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences – the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions.  How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love!  How enduring and inclusive it is!  Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding – this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!”
