I welcome God's picture of who I am. David said, "You know all about us, inside and out. You are mindful that we’re made from dust (Ps. 103:14). Paul adds to this by letting us know that "the one who joins himself to the Lord is mingled into one spirit with him (1 Cor. 6:17 TPT).
I have held this picture of myself in my mind for many years
I am dust fused to glory. The dust part of me by itself is weak and sinful. However, when I step into the glory side of me I am empowered and energized by Almighty God.
Linda Garmon did some journaling this morning and God spoke to her about this reality.
Linda - Lord, I love our time together. I am really enjoying this journey and I am excited about the destinations ahead that are still a mystery to me. It’s ok because I love surprises. What do You want to say to me about the things I will be learning and practicing? Show me areas where my thinking does not align with Your way. What should be my focus right out of the gate?
Jesus - Focus on the infusing that takes place when dust that was formed in My hands has the breath of life infused into it. When mere dirt becomes a glorious creation that I call beloved. I placed Myself into you and My Spirit infuses every part of you. My own DNA residing in every cell of your body. My thoughts bubbling up within you, guiding you, teaching you, correcting you. Meditate on this today and you will see and hear Me, not just in our morning meeting, but all day and all night. You are My beloved dust.
Linda - I love You so much. Thank You.
