LaWanda – My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine.  For Thee, all the follies of sin I resign.  My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou.  If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.  I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me.  And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree.  I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow.  If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now. ♪♪

O Jesus, precious Jesus, as I read your words to me in these journals, you bring this beautiful love song from my youth to my mind.  “My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine.”  How blessed I am to KNOW without doubt that “THOU ART MINE!”  How precious is your grace to us Lord, that we can know in the depths of us not just who you are but that we can claim you as our very own.  O Lord, I am undone in this moment, precious Jesus, for I know…THOU ART MINE!  I need nothing else, Lord.  I need nothing else.

Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, I have come as a surprise to you today.  You had no idea when you started softly singing “My Jesus, I love Thee” that you were literally calling Me close.  You did not know that in the singing of those words, you were actually drawing near to Me.

O LaWanda, My dear one, when you draw near to Me, even if you don’t know that you are doing it, I MUST respond.  I MUST draw near to you.  My word says so.  And the sweetness of this moment is not soon forgotten.  For even as you know in the depths of you that I have called your name and you are Mine, know as well that you have called My name and I am yours.   O precious one, bask in this moment of love that is like no other.  Bask in the presence of your King!
