Anniversaries are the testimony of living one more year in love and harmony. Well, yesterday Patti and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Wow! It's hard to believe we have spent an entire half-century doing life and ministry together. 

Patti told me her marriage improved greatly when I learned how to hear God's voice. That was because God said, "Honor Patti the way I made her," rather than me trying to change her into my likeness. What wonderful counsel! Simple, life-changing instruction from the Lord that allowed me to be a better husband to my wife for the past five decades.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord (Prov. 18:22). I'm truly favored and blessed. Happy anniversary to the beloved wife of my youth!
