Have you felt it, this year, and in years past? Love, peace and joy are in the air. People become friendlier. It is God’s Spirit of love, poured out across the earth. For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son (1 Jn. 4:9). We celebrate and feel His love, joy and peace every Christmas season. And yes, Dec. 25th may or may not be the exact day Jesus was born, but to me it makes no difference. We have chosen this day to commemorate His birth.

This Christmas, some of my friends are in the midst of great trials and tribulation. One has just been notified of cancer, another of a divorce battle involving a custody fight over their children. God’s counsel is, I cause all things to work out for good (Rom. 8:28).

For all of us, it is a reminder that this love, joy and peace of Christ is a manifestation of His Spirit within our hearts (Gal. 5:22). It comes from within, not without.

This Christmas season is special for me...

I have come to a deeper understanding of the place of emotions, and especially the power of love, to release God’s Spirit and power. I had never fully honored the role of emotions, having been taught they were soulish and thus unreliable and to be discarded. Nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus, moved by compassion healed. God sent His Son because He loved. Faith works through love (Gal. 5:6).

So with my newfound respect and honor for emotions, Christmas means even more to me this year, as I can truly celebrate the spirit of love that is in the air, realizing it is the emotion of God, flowing, healing and restoring lives. Love releases His healing power!

My two-year exploration of the power of Kingdom emotions has resulted in a new book, and video training package and electronic course, which were released this month. We offered it for free viewing during this month and it is still at a huge discount until the end of the month for those who want to make this revelation their own. It will allow you to honor and celebrate and enjoy God’s emotions which carry His power and grace to a world that is hurting.

ENJOY the Spirit of Christ which is in the air during this Christmas season

Be freed from the spirit of heaviness which pervades those clothed in darkness, for we are children of the light (Eph. 5:8). Avoid the news as they do not see anything from a heavenly perspective. They only spread gloom, doom and fear. Jesus choose not to look at Rome, but to fix His eyes on what His Father was doing (Jn. 5:19,20,30). Therefore, He walked in the STATE of peace. We can follow His pattern, and also walk in the STATE of peace, even in the midst of a troubled world.

We can spread His love, joy and peace to all we touch, as long as our eyes are fixed on Jesus (Heb. 12:1,2). He will reveal to us how He is working ALL THINGS out for good (Rom. 8:28).

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:13).
